Panel Air Conditioners
Werner Finley offers Panel Air Conditioners to suit a variety of control panels mainly used in the machine tool industry. These air conditioners are versatile and can also be used for applications other than the one they were primarily manufactured for, for example, they can be utilized to condition any enclosure containing electronic equipment, drives or components which are sensitive to temperature, humidity and dust particles. The standard air conditioners are provided with digital display temperature controllers, mechanical dust filters and use eco-friendly refrigerant, R134a. The complete range of panel airconditioners are CE marked.
Oil Chillers
Spindles are important components of most industrial or small-scale machinery and are extremely sensitive to heat. As the machine at hand is in use, the temperature of the spindles rises, causing the machinery to malfunction. In order to avoid this possibility, it is important to maintain the temperature of the spindles within specified limits, ensuring the machine tool’s smooth operation. Our Spindle Chiller helps achieve these temperatures by re-circulating machine-compatible coolant through a cooling circuit within the cooler. They use the eco-friendly refrigerant R134a and contain inbuilt coolant tanks and re-circulating pumps. These chiller controllers are compact, mobile and based on microprocessors for their functionality,
Air Cooled Scroll Chillers
Werner Finley’s air cooled scroll chillers are distributed over four series, broadly categorised based on the water quality used for the process and the ambient temperatures under which they are made to operate. All these chillers are made to be compatible for both indoor and outdoor installation. In those chillers having capacities of 15 TR and more, Werner Finley offers a bare chiller option wherein the water reservoir and pump are absent. In a package chiller there can be 2 skids; one for the chiller and one for the tank and pump. This option is customised based on the client’s availability of space.
Scroll chillers starting at capacities of 10 TR contain single or two compressor circuit redundancy options. When a product contains a two/three/four compressor, it is indicative of their own independent refrigerant circuits that function in succession, which further ensures redundancy of the unit and longevity of the circuit. Each chiller comes with a dedicated microprocessor or PLC-based chiller controllers which determine the number of compressors to run based on the amount of heat load. Due to these features, the Air Cooled Scroll Chillers are energy efficient and offer redundancy based on the criticality of the application.
Water Cooled Scroll Chiller
Werner Finley’s Water Cooled Scroll Chillers are built with shell and tube condenser and evaporators which ensure high efficiencies and trouble-free operation. Redundancy models are made available in chillers of capacities 10 TR and upwards. Like the Air Cooled chillers, these come with two/three/four compressors that aid in energy efficient operation and equal aging of its components. These also come with microprocessor or PLC-based chiller controllers of reputed make. The chillers within this series are supplied without an integrated pump and tank, but these can be selected from Werner Finley’s standard list if required and installed on-site. The I WAT scroll chiller uses R 407C refrigerant while the I CAT uses R 134a, and customers may choose between the two based on their requirements. Both types of chillers can be installed either indoors or outdoors and their electrical cabinets are IP 55 rated. They find applications in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automobile, brewery, food and beverages and electro plating. Like the Air Cooled chillers, these too come with a list of customisation options like condenser water flow regulator, flow switch or indicator, solenoid valves, pressure relief valves, remote control panel, online water filter and many more.
Energy Efficient Chillers
Over three decades of being part of the process cooling industry, Werner Finley has designed and built cooling systems and components that avoid excess energy consumption, thus cutting down operating expenses for the buyers who use our products. A normal chiller would operate based on the fluctuations of media temperature- turning on when its temperature crosses the set point and turning off when it drops below the set point. Due to this, chillers tend to undergo a large number of on-off cycles during the manufacturing process, even when not needed at times. In order to avoid excess cycles and save energy, Werner Finley has created energy-efficient chillers adopting technologies which assess the amount of heat in the machine at regular, pre-set intervals, thus reducing the number of on-off cycles drastically. It is possible to save up to 30% of the energy normally consumed by replacing conventional chillers with energy efficient variants.
Screw Chiller
Werner Finley’s Screw chillers are distributed under two series, broadly categorised based on cooling media i.e. Air-Cooled or Water – Cooled, the water quality used for the process and the ambient temperatures under which they are made to operate. All these chillers are made to be compatible for both indoor and outdoor installation. Screw chillers are available starting from 40TR and above. Werner Finley offers a bare chiller option wherein the water reservoir and pump are absent. In a package chiller there can be 2 skids; one for the chiller and one for the tank and pump. This option is customised based on the client’s availability of space.
Screw chillers contain single or two compressor circuit redundancy options depending on the capacity. Screw chillers are designed to work for varying load. Two types of compressor systems are available based on the nature of loads i.e STEP CONTROLL & STEPLESS CONTROLL. STEP CONTROLL Compressors work for step loads i.e 25%, 50%, 75% & 100%, whereas STEPLESS CONTROLL Compressors work for infinite loads i.e anywhere in-between 25% to 100%. Each chiller comes with a dedicated microprocessor or PLC-based chiller controllers which determine the number of compressors to run based on the amount of heat load. Due to these features, the Air Cooled Screw Chillers are energy efficient and offer redundancy based on the criticality of the application.
